Prepayment turns several months of care into one charge. A monthly equivalent may look attractive while the amount withdrawn is much larger. Both figures matter.

Ask how much cash you commit before deciding to continue. Read refund rules and cancellation deadlines alongside the arithmetic, especially when month one differs from later blocks.

Service cost and committed cash

Service cost allocates a monthly rate to the period examined. Cash committed counts whole payments made to cover it. A prepaid block can include time outside the comparison window.

This tool assumes a separately billed first month, then prepaid blocks. A full block billed on day one follows a different schedule; ask for that schedule rather than treating the first-payment result as a checkout prediction.

Pay attention to the second payment

With a $100 first month, then $90 a month paid quarterly, three months of service cost $280. A $270 charge at the start of month two brings cash committed to $370 and covers four months overall. These are teaching figures.

A lower average and larger cash payment can both be correct. The gap is prepaid time, not automatically a hidden fee. The unclear part may be time covered, renewal date or refund conditions.

Ask what can be refunded

Do not assume unused months are refundable. Obtain written terms for cancellation after approval, after preparation and after shipment. Membership and medication may have different rules.

Find out whether cancellation stops renewal immediately or requires a cutoff. Save acknowledgment. The calculator does not establish a refund entitlement or override a contract.

Apply two budget checks

Ask whether period cost is manageable and whether the biggest payment fits the expected balance on its billing date. A plan can pass the first test and fail the second.

Keep testing or visits visible when separately quoted. Prepaying may make sense when the quote is complete and fits your budget. Monthly billing may suit uncertainty or a need for flexibility. Read terms directly: Ro’s page, for example, distinguishes monthly and prepaid memberships with medication separate.
